Sora’s POV
I smile down at her while we’re hugging, and bury my face in her hair as she buries her head in my chest and thinks ‘ She doesn’t like me like that…but, I’m beginning to think I’m falling in love with her, and we haven’t know each other that long either…’
After a couple of minutes she pulls away, smiling up at me and takes my hand “ Let’s get back to Merlin’s, they’re probably worried…and I need to tell Taki and everyone else about Donovan…”
I nod and start walking next to her, still holding her hand and I smile, intertwining our fingers together. After a couple of minutes, I look over at her from the corner of my eye and smile, seeing a faint blush on her cheeks and a genuine smile on her face and think ‘ She’s beautiful when she smiles…’
Paige looks over at me and catches my eye and stops both of us, still looking me in the eyes, then she blushes and looks away, I smile a little as a faint blush hits my face and looks the other way.
I look back down at her and smile a little more as I put my index finger and thumb under her chin and lift it up so she’s looking at me and I smile “ You shouldn’t hide, you’re beautiful…” I look her in the eyes as she blushes a deeper crimson but her smile grows a little bigger.
She closes her eyes for a second, then opens her eyes again, looking up at me, then wraps her arms around me, and lays her head on my chest and I smile, resting my chin on top of her head, wrapping my own arms around her. We stay like that for a few minutes until we hear coughing and we blush deeply, stepping away from each other and I look over and see Taki and Riku standing there, smirking at both of us.
Riku chuckles lightly “ Get a room you two!” then he turns around and runs away with Taki following close behind him, laughing as well.
We look at each other and smile, then start running after them, laughing as we go.
Taki POV
I run next to Riku, still laughing, then we slow down and I look over at Riku, smiling as I think ‘ Damn he’s hot…but, I still think he’s going out with Kairi…but, I saw her flirting with Kain earlier, so I think they decided to stay best friends…’. Then I look away as we slow down to a walk.
I feel Riku’s gaze on me and I look up at him, still smiling and he asks “ Taki…is there something on your mind?”
I sigh, and look at the ground “ I’m just thinking about how everyone has someone…but I don’t…I kinda feel lonely…” I look back up at him “ for example, you have Kairi, and Paige has Sora…and, I have no one…”
He stops and grabs my wrist, stopping me as well and turns me towards him, shaking his head “ you’re wrong about me and Kairi, we broke up a while ago, and now she has Kain…but, maybe me and you can be together…I know it’s sort of fast…” I stop him and lean up, kissing him fully on the lips.
He smiles, and kisses me back passionately, and wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer.
After a couple of minutes, I pull away, smiling up at him, slightly breathless, I reply “ I…don’t think….it’s to…fast, I’ve waited….for a…while…”
He smiles, then pecks me on the lips lightly “ so, we’re together then…?”
I smile and nod “ We’re together…”
Sora’s POV
I sigh as Paige and I slow down to a walk, and look over at Paige, noticing she’s deep in thought and think ‘ I was so close to…but then Riku and Taki had to ruin it…maybe now’s my chance…’
I stop and after a couple seconds, Paige stops as well, turning back to me with a smile on her face “ Something wrong Sora…?”.
I shake my head and smile, jogging to catch up to her and stop next to her, taking her hands in mine, looking her in the eyes with a smile and I shake my head “ Nope, nothing’s wrong…I’m just thinking…” ‘ about you’ but I didn’t say it out loud.
Paige smiles a little at me and moves closer, tilting her head to the side “ About what?”
I sigh and lean closer, kissing her on the lips, waiting for her reaction, but I’m surprised to actually feel her smiling and kissing me back.
After a couple minutes, we both pull away for air and I smile, then lean over and whisper quietly in her ear “ I was thinking about you…I’ve wanted to do that ever since I first met you…” I smile a little more and feel her shiver in my grasp.
She smiles and pecks me on the cheek, then shivers again as some wind hits both of us and she wraps her arms around herself, trying to keep herself warm “ It’s cold tonight…”.
I smile, then turn her around carefully and wrap both arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me and rest my chin on her shoulder, looking at her blushing face “ Better…?”
She nods and stutters “ M-much better…thank you…S-Sora…” she leans into my touch and kisses my cheek lightly.
“ Alright…lets get back to Merlin’s so you can get some sleep and get warm…” I smile, then kiss her cheek.
She nods and starts walking and I move my chin to the top of her head, still holding her close to me.
After a few more minutes, we reach Merlin’s house and Paige opens the door quietly, seeing everyone asleep and we walk to a room and I let her go, smiling at her and peck her on the lips lightly “ Goodnight Paige…” I go to leave, but she grabs my hand, stopping me.
“ Don’t leave me…please…” she looks at the ground, embaressed and I smile, and walk closer to her and nod, opening the door to her room.
“ Alright…I won’t leave you Paige…”
She looks up me and smiles, and walks inside her room, still holding her hand, she pulls me in lightly and shuts the door behind me, and leans up, pecking me on the lips and walks over to the bed with me and lays down on the bed.
“ Paige….how come you’re not going to change into something…?”
She blushes, and laughs lightly “ This is all I have for clothes…”
I smile and walk over to the bed and lay down next to her, wrapping my arms around her and bring her closer to me and whisper in her ear “ We’ll go see the three fairies so you and Taki can get some new clothes…”
Paige smiles as shivers going down her spine and she lays her head on my chest, closing her eyes “ That’d be….great…Sora…goodnight…”
I smile softly and kiss the top of her head, covering both of us up and close my eyes, whispering “ Night Paige….sweet dreams…”
Donovan’s POV
I growl and punch another wall, leaving a hole in it. “ Why did she have to get in the way…? I thought she was my best friend…and she’d understand…”
I sigh, then look around the room, noticing several holes in the wall and I rub my hand lightly, wincing a bit in pain ‘ I’m going to have to remember not to do that…’
I shake my head and walk over to the bed, I lay down on my back, looking up at the ceiling and whisper “ There’s only one reason why she saved him…and that would be because she loves him…I guess I’ll have to let it go now…because I don’t want to hurt Paige…she’s the only one who would listen to me…”. I close my eyes in defeat and fall asleep.
The next morning I wake up, and lay in bed for a while, then I get out of bed and take a quick shower and put on my jeans and black shirt, then put on my mother’s Organization coat and walk outside, putting my hand over my eyes, blocking out the sun.
After I blink my eyes a couple times, getting used to the light, I walk forward, putting my hands in my pockets and sighing. I continue to walk forward for a little ways, then I stop, and smile at seeing a girl a little shorter than me with light brown hair and the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen in my life. After a couple of minutes, from what I looked like, she felt my gaze on her and turned towards me and caught my eyes.
We stared at each other for what seemed like hours, then she blushed and turned away, looking at the ground and starts walking away. I reach toward her, but then I sigh and put my hand down by my side and start walking towards the nearest café where a couple of people I knew worked at.
Few hours later…
I sigh again and leave the café and walk towards the town, then I see the girl from before surrounded by heartless and I growl, summoning Arlene to my hand and run forward and start attacking the heartless, drawing all of their attention away from her and to myself, hoping she would escape.
After a few minutes of fighting the heartless, the final one disappears from the slash of my detachable kunai. I sigh, then put the detachable kunai onto Arlene again and dismiss it from my hand, and I turn around, only to be pulled into a big hug by the girl and I look down at her and blush, and hug her back.
A couple seconds later, she pulls back with a blush on her face and looks at the ground, and I smile and hold my hand out to her “ Hi…my name’s Donovan…what’s your name…?”
She looks up at me and smiles, taking my large, and rough hand in her small and delicate one and shakes it, still smiling she responds happily “ Hi Donovan, my name’s Klissanya…”
I smile, then hear an explosion coming not far away from us and look toward the town, and see smoke and people fleeing the area, then I catch a sight of what looks like Taki and Paige running through the town, blocking the attacks of Adrie, then I look at Klissanya and let go of her hand.
“ What’s wrong Donovan….?”
I sigh, and turn towards the town again “ My best friends are in trouble…I need to go help them…” then I start to walk forward, and she grabs my wrist lightly, and I turn around, only to have her kiss me on the lips, then she pulls away, a blush on her face and a small smile.
“ That’s for luck…”
I smile, then lean over, kissing her on the lips again, then pulls away, and starts running towards the town, summoning Arlene to my hand again, preparing for the battle.
Paige’s POV
I growl, then look at Taki and nod, we both stop quickly and turn around and jump at her, attacking Adrie quickly, then she pushes both of us away with her dark powers and takes out her whip and wraps it around Takis’ ankle and flings her into me, sending us into a wall, leaving a creator, Taki falls to the ground, with me still stuck in the wall. A couple minutes, I’m hit with a dark energy from her, causing me to go through the wall and skid to a stop a few feet away from the battle.
“ So, it’s just you and me Taki…you think you can beat me…? I beat Paige, now there’s only you left…” Adrie smirks, then laughs evilly, and starts attacking Taki.
I growl and stand up slowly, summoning Warrior Spirit back to my hand, then I go to cast a cure spell, and I wince in pain, and drop to my knees again, but someone grabs my shoulders, keeping me from falling to the ground.
I look up and smile then yell “ Donovan!”
He smiles and laughs lightly, and casts a cure spell on me and helps me stand up “ yep, that’s me! Now, what do you say we go help Taki!”
I nod and summon Warrior Spirit as he summons Arlene and we run forward, and I run and catch Taki before she hits the wall behind her. I skid to a stop and put Taki on her feet and casts a cure spell on her.
“ You okay Taki…?
“ Yeah…I’m fine…you need to go help Donovan…she’s gotten stronger”
I nod and let her go and runs towards Donovan and Adrie and blocks the attack. Then I slash at her stomach, sending her flying back a couple feet, then she stands back up, as a barrier forms around Donovan, Adrie, and me.
Normal POV
As the barrier forms, Sora, Riku, Kairi and Kain all run to where Taki is watching both Paige and Donovan fight Adrie. Riku runs over to Taki and pulls her into a hug, watching their comrades fight Adrie by themselves. Taki looks up at Riku and whispers.
“ Don’t you sense how strong she has gotten…? She must be getting her powers from someone…”
Riku nods, still watching them fight “ yeah…she must be working for Sydnee and her other comrades…”
Meanwhile, Sora watches as his girlfriend is fighting her ex-friend, and winces when she gets hit and sent flying backwards and growls, thinking ‘ I wish I could help them!’. Sora looks around for a couple minutes, then he looks towards the battle again and sees Paige and Donovan start glowing.
