Hey. There is an answer. Poe wrote on both. He wrote the Raven, and he wrote on a writing desk.

Yeah, but I hardly think that someone who answers a riddle which the author said has no answer truly answers the riddle. In his 2nd edition of Alice In Wonderland, he specifically states that the riddle was designed to have no answer.

Yes, but Carroll later gave an answer to the riddle because so many people asked. For the record, I found this in a copy of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, not on google. "Because both are capable of producing short, flat notes, and will never be turned the wrong way."
Also, for a different answer, because "B" is in both, while "N" is in neither. While, conversely, an "N" is in both, while a "B" is in neither.
