i use another forum that is the same layout as this, so i knwo how to do that kind of stuff. it's actually really easy. for images, the code is [*img] but without the asterisk in there. at the end of the internet link to the picture, you put in [/img*] again, without the asterisk. then, the url link is [*url= and whatever the link you want is to link to]the text or  img picture to link here[/url*] again, without the asterisk. if you want a better explanation for all of this, here is a link that explains it really well. notice how similar the look and layout the forum in the link is to this one Smiley

for a better explanation, let's see if i can do this right.

Code:
[url=url to link text/image to]text/image code to link[/url]
and the image code it [img]internet link to picture[/img]
to link a picture, like in my sig, it's [url=internet link][img]link to picture[/img][/url]

make sense now? or are you asking about how to get a sig? because the character limit on this site's sigs is a HUGE!

...I really wanna read Dracula.

But I'm in the midst of the Wheel of Time series, and won't be free until Dec. at least.

*points at poll* I voted "Fantasy" because I'm a fan of the Inheritance cycle, LotR, and it's the closest to what I usually read. really, my favorite genre is paranormal/supernatural fiction, prefereably with some romance in it, but not always as a main theme. some of my favorite books in this genre include Vampire Academy, and Hush Hush was quite good, despite being somewhat cliched at times. I will read pretty much anything by L.J. Smith, despite the fact that I hate her writing style and Vampire Diaries just drives me insane with rage and annoyance (I mean, seriously, how many times must Elena Gilbert die before it's permanent?!?!?!). Other favorites of mine include the Uglies series, M.T. Anderson's futuristic masterpiece, Feed (which i HIGHLY recommend, if you haven't read it) and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Oh, and the Hunger Games Trilogy. If anyone here is a fan, i'm on Team Gale.

If you want feedback first, you could always go to the editor's corner on the site, start a new topic, and type in the title as the subject.  If you look in additional options for your first post, you'll be able to attach a file to that post others can download.
